Any pursuit of truth in a world populated by a people given over to lies and deceitfulness is a vain pursuit. Search all the world's writings and teachings and undoubtedly you will ask as Pilate, "What is truth?"
However, there is such a thing as truth. It is that which is not of this world and as a result is not contaminated by the deceitful nature of mankind. It is a book that comes down from above. A writing that transcends all other writings. A book that is rightly and properly called the "Holy Bible" because it is the absolute truth without the slightest error of any kind found within its jots or tittles. The Bible is the only truth. Only in the Bible can a man finally come to a safe haven that will never lie to him. It will never distort or pervert or tell him smooth things that flatter him and that he wants to hear. No. The Bible is hard truth. And it will not budge off of it whether we like it or not. This why the people of the world abhor it, run from it, and seek the cover of darkness (all else in the world) to escape it.
