Yes It Is Fact That Jesus Is God

  • Passages covered: John 1:1, John 1:14, Isaiah 55:8-9, 1John 5:7

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh,...

And it is fact that Jesus is the Son of God---but why is He said to be the Son of God? Because He was born like you and me? No! He is the Son of God based upon His rising from the dead, Colossians 1:18:

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;

There is no confusion about what the Bible teaches. The Bible teaches that God is One God and yet Three Persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). It's an extremely clear Bible teaching.

Confusion arises when tiny, little men possessing finite minds attempt to apply their own creature limitations to the Infinite and eternal God of the Bible. These finite men look to their own creature existence as one person only and then insist that Almighty Everlasting God must be like them and also be one person only.

Yet God is far greater than man and His ways far above our ways. His glorious Being is simply too great for us little men with peanut size minds to comprehend. Isaiah 55:8-9:

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Again, God's Word is clear on the matter. He is One God and yet Three Persons, 1John 5:7:

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

The Holy Bible says it, that settles it for all God's true children.
